All is set for yet another year of the sporting extravaganza, IPL. Today i.e Tuesday, 7 April 2015 at 7.30 pm, the eight season of the IPL will start with a glittering performance at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata.

Bollywood Superstar Saif Ali Khan will be hosting the season. Some prominent superstars which will grace the occasion today are Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Pritam.

MCC Spirit of Cricket pledge will be taken today by all the eight teams and the defending champions KKR will place the trophy back to get the season rolling.
