Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir Kumar Sangakkara were each fined USD 20,000 for their teams’ slow-over rates. This was the first time that four captains were fined for slow rates. Interesting point is that till today only 2 matches have been played and in both matches, both sides were found slow by match referees Andy Pycroft and Srinivas Venkataraghavan respectively
