The 6th match of DLF – IPL was between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab and was played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Punjab Kings won the toss and decided to bat first. The start was good and the first wicket partnership was of 34 runs off just 4.5 overs. Karan Goel was the first to go and then the next to go was Kumara Sangakkara. Mahela Jayawardene was out for just 2 runs and now the entire responsibility was on the shoulders of Yuvraj Singh. He got a life when he was dropped by Lehman and then there was no looking back. He played a captains knock and scored 57 runs of 34 balls which included 3 sixes and 6 fours. Hopes, Sohal, Lee and Pathan was out for cheap but still the Kings XI managed to score 166 runs in their alloted overs.
The crowd was enjoying each moment and the atmosphere at the ground was electrifying with cheerleaders dancing on the tunes. Apart from them some celebrities were also present.So now Rajasthan Royals have to get 167 runs in 20 overs to register their first win in the League.
