Dr Vijay Mallya says:
“Rahul asked me before the auction if I wanted to put together a glamorous team or a winning team”
“I said glamour can be created but we needed a team which is solid, has experience and the talent to win, keeping in the Royal Challengers’ mantra ‘winning will be a habit with us’”.

It is sad that the likes of Vijay Mallya are allowed to bring all the elements to cricket the the game does not stand for.
His childish outburst shows him in extremely poor light. He is a bad loser and a poor leader.
Unfortunate that unabashed flaunt of money and the ‘win or perish’ philosophy is alowed to dictate terms in events like IPL. Unless this IPL menace is controlled in its initial stage, it will become a demon and ruin the game (not just the Indian cricket).
Mallyas of the world are not cricket lovers, and they should not be allowed to sporsor this gentleman’s game.
